Man stabbed in ‘argument’ at bus stop as police search for suspect in Brampton

Police are searching for a man wanted in a stabbing that happened at a Brampton Transit stop after a verbal argument turned violent.
Peel Regional Police say the confrontation occurred Oct. 26 around 4 p.m. at a bus stop in the area of Main Street and Steeles Avenue in Brampton.
Investigators say two men got into an argument that became heated and a 32-year-old man was stabbed “several times.”
A police spokesperson confirmed to INsauga.com the stabbing happened at a Brampton Transit bus stop, but they could not specify which one.
The victim was rushed to hospital, where police say he is in non-life-threatening condition.
Police have released an image of the suspect and are asking anyone with information on the stabbing or the suspect to contact investigators.
The man is described as Black, with a medium build. He was wearing a black toque, black and grey jacket, black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and beige boots at the time of the incident.
He was also carrying a dark backpack, police said.
