Man stabbed at restaurant in Brampton

Peel Regional Police are looking for the suspect(s) responsible for a stabbing at a restaurant in Brampton early this morning, which sent one man to the hospital with stab wounds.

Police say shortly before 3 a.m. officers responded to reports of a stabbing near Kennedy Road South and Orenda Road.

According to investigators, a 60-year-old man was located with stab wounds and taken to a trauma centre for treatment.

A user by the name DR Media 371 posted on X (formerly Twitter), stating that the incident took place at Jack’s Backyard restaurant and that the victim sustained stab wounds to the leg and arm.

At this time, police have not disclosed additional details about the victim including his name, place of residence and whether he is in life-threatening condition.

Police told Insauga.com that the investigations are in the early stages and it is unknown if the stabbing was targeted and if the victim and suspect(s) were known to each other.
