An 18-year-old Mississauga man was shot to death early Tuesday morning in Bloordale Village in Toronto’s west end.

Homicide detectives with Toronto Police have little to go on in the slaying of Issaïh Jünger, who was gunned down just before 1:30 a.m. in the area of Lansdowne Avenue and Bloor Street West, several blocks east of High Park.

Police say officers who responded to the early morning Feb. 6 shooting call found the Mississauga man “with trauma to his body.”

“Life-saving measures were performed and the man was transported to hospital,” where he succumbed to his injuries a short time later, police said in a news release Wednesday morning.
