Man shot in Oakville, police looking for motorcycle-driving gunman

A man was shot in Oakville yesterday and Halton police are looking for the gunman.
Shortly after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, police received reports of a single gunshot near the McDonalds restaurant at Dundas St. W. and Hampshire Gate.
A man was sent to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Due to the nature of the injury, police believe he may have been shot with a pellet gun.
Although not supplying any additional information, police don’t believe the encounter was random.
The suspect is a male who was wearing all black clothing and a motorcycle helmet. He was last seen driving westbound on Dundas Str. at a high rate of speed on a motorcycle.
