UPDATE: Man seriously injured in multi-vehicle crash; major road closed in Mississauga

A man suffered serious injuries in a multi-vehicle crash in Mississauga.
Emergency crews responded to the collision on Queen Street in Streetsville around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Peel Regional Police said.
One man was transported to a trauma centre hospital, police said. Peel Paramedics told news outlets three other people were transported with minor injuries.
Photos from the scene show four vehicles were involved with one vehicle landing on the front lawn of a home. All vehicles appear to be badly damaged.
Queen Street South from Old Station Road to Reid Drive remained closed as of 7 a.m. Thursday morning and was expected to be closed for a few more hours, police said.
The closure did extend beyond Old Station Road impacting drivers’ access to the GO Train station but police repositioned the perimeter for drivers to enter the commuter lot.
Police asked drivers to use alternate routes.
