Man seriously injured in industrial accident near Pearson Airport in Mississauga, Ontario

A man has been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after an accident on the job Thursday morning at an industrial location near Pearson Airport in Mississauga.

Peel Regional Police said in a post to social media the industrial accident occurred at about 7 a.m. at a location near Drew Road and Bramalea Road in the northeast part of the city, just to the northwest of the airport.

Police haven’t released any additional details, saying only that “one adult male victim (was) transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries” and that the Ministry of Labour is at the scene to investigate.
