Man seriously injured during shooting on Hamilton Mountain

Police are investigating an overnight shooting that took place in Hamilton on Sunday, September 5.
Shortly after 1:00 a.m., officers responded to the area of Stone Church Road East and Upper Ottawa Street, where they found a male suffering from a single gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
“At this time police are treating this incident as targeted,” said police.
No suspect description has been released by police at this time.
