Man seriously injured during road rage incident in Brampton

Officers are investigating a recent assault that took place in Brampton.
Police say a road rage incident occured on Sunday, September 5 in the area of Airport Road and Bovaird Drive.
The victim, a 37 year old Brampton man, was the passenger in a vehicle when he became involved in an altercation with a driver in another vehicle.
“The vehicles came to a stop, at which time the suspect assaulted the victim with a weapon,” said police.
Police say the suspect then fled in a white Toyota Highlander (pictured).
The victim attended a local hospital with serious injuries and is currently in stable condition.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or captured it on video surveillance or dashcam footage between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to contact investigators at 905-453–2121, ext. 2133.
