Man mugged outside his Brampton home as attacker tries to steal keys

A man in Brampton was mugged just outside his own home while the unidentified attackers tried to steal his keys.

The victim was approached outside his home near Hwy 50 and Ebenezer Rd on Brampton’s eastern edge. Two men walked up to him and produced a gun.

The pair took some unspecified property but failed to take the man’s car keys. The two muggers then hopped into a nearby silver car and sped off from the scene.

Peel Regional Police were called about the attack shortly after 7:30 p.m. Police describe the suspects with sparse detail saying only they were Black men wearing dark clothes and masks.
