Man killed in Uxbridge car crash

A serious collision in Uxbridge has killed one man and sent another to hospital.

The crash happened on Highway 47 and Uxbridge Concession Road 2 shortly around 9:30 this morning.

An Ornge air-ambulance was dispatched, but the victim was pronounced dead before the helicopter could arrive. Another patient was taken to local hospital for treatment.

Highway 47 remains closed between Uxbridge Concession Road 2 and Goodwood Road for the investigation. Police advise drivers to take an alternate route.
