A repeat federal offender serving a prison sentence for armed robbery is wanted by police on a Canada-wide warrant after escaping custody and authorities say he could be in Mississauga or Brampton.

Ontario’s Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad, comprised of officers from various law enforcement agencies, says Kristoff Crawford, 30, recently breached his statutory release and is now on the run from police.

Investigators are seeking the public’s help in tracking down Crawford, who’s currently serving a prison term of two years and three months for robbery with a firearm, robbery with violence and possession of a weapon contrary to prohibition order.

Police said in an OPP news release today that the wanted man is known to frequent areas in Toronto, Mississauga and Brampton.

Crawford is further described as standing 6-foot-3, weighing 210 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

He has the following tattoos:

  • bird and female on upper right arm
  • the words “Trust No One” on right arm
  • “416” on abdomen
  • the words “Who Jah Bless No Man Curse” on upper back
  • the words “Power Respect Bless” on left arm
  • praying hands/cross on right arm
