Man injured after falling out of a tree along Burlington trail

A man who fell 30 feet out of a tree along the Brue Trail in Burlington is being treated in hospital for his injuries.
According to reports, the man and others were hiking in the Kilbride area near Britannia Rd. and Blind Line around 9:30 p.m. last night (May 24) when the incident occurred.
No reason has been given why the man had been climbing the tree.
The man was attended to at the scene by emergency crews and then taken to a Hamilton hospital where he remains.
The extent of his injuries is not known.
Halton Regional Police are investigating the incident.
