Police say a man has been taken to a trauma centre following a stabbing incident in Mississauga.

Peel police say the incident took place in the Dixie Rd. and Dundas St. area around 4:00 pm on Dec. 30.

UPDATE: Police say the victim’s injuries are considered serious, but it’s not yet known if they’re life-threatening. The suspect fled the area following the incident, police say.
