Main in 60s hit by car in Pickering; street closed

A roadway in Pickering was closed late Friday (Oct. 29) for a “serious pedestrian collision” investigation.
Durham Regional Police Service said that a man in his 60s was struck by a driver on Bayly Street. He was taken to a trauma centre, but police did not say whether the injuries are life-threatening.
As a result, eastbound Bayly St. is closed from Liverpool Road to Pickering Beach Roadway.
