Man hospitalized after being struck by car in Mississauga: Peel Police

Peel Regional Police are investigating after a man was hit by a car in Mississauga early Tuesday morning (Nov. 23).

Police said shortly before 6 a.m., they were called to the area of Netherbrae Road and Darcel Ave. to reports of a pedestrian struck.

Upon arriving on the scene, emergency responders found a man in his 60s had been injured and he was transported to a local hospital where he remains for assessment. Police said he is conscious and alert.

In the meantime, an investigation into the crash continues and a section of Netherbrae, south of Darcel, remains closed. Police said there is no impact to traffic on Darcel Ave.
