Man facing charges after police find loaded firearm in Brampton

Police have laid multiple firearm charges following a recent traffic stop in Brampton.
Shortly after 10:00 p.m. on Friday (Mar. 11), officers investigated a vehicle in the area of Ebenezer Road and The Gore Road.
“As a result of the investigation, one of the occupants in the vehicle was found in possession of a loaded firearm,” said police.
23 year old Toronto man Jeron Adams has been charged with:
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
- Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm
- Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing There was a Firearm
- Careless Use of Firearm
- Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
Adams was held for a bail hearing and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Saturday, Mar. 12.
