A man has died after being struck by a front end loader in Mississauga.

Peel police say the male was struck by the heavy machinery in the Dixie Rd. and Shawson Dr. area around 2:00 pm on April 26. 

Police say the victim was pronounced dead on the scene. 

There are no road closures in the area but a private business has been closed off due to the ongoing investigation into the collision. 

UPDATE:

Police say the incident is considered an industrial accident. The Ministry of Labour will be investigating.
