Man dead in a daylight shooting in Mississauga

One man is dead in a shooting in Mississauga.
Emergency crews rushed to a park area near Brass Winds Place in Meadowvale today (Dec. 30) around 11 a.m., Peel Regional Police said in a tweet.
A man was shot and Peel Paramedics responded but sadly, the victim died on the scene, police said.
An adult male suspect is in custody, police added.
More information will be added as it becomes available.
Update: Police say there are no outstanding suspects at this time and believe there is no risk to public safety connected to this incident.
