Man dead after violent attack in Mississauga

Officers are on scene for a homicide in Mississauga today (Sept. 25).
At 10:44 a.m., a violent altercation was reported between two men at a residence on Glen Erin Dr near Britannia Rd.
Police say one man was seriously assaulted and died as a result of his injuries.
The other male has been taken into custody.
Peel police’s Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau is taking over the investigation.

Police have confirmed that the victim in this incident is a 34 year old man from Mississauga. Investigators have arrested a 21 year old Mississauga man, who is charged with Second Degree Murder. He will appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on Sunday, Sept. 26.
