Man dead after overnight shooting in Ajax

Police are investigating a fatal shooting in Ajax today (Dec. 27).

At around 2:00 a.m., officers attended a residence on Denny Street (south of Bayly St E) for a report of a male who had been shot.

Officers located the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

He has been identified as 27 year old Ajax man Franklin Owusu.

There is no suspect information at this time.
