Man dead, 2 people injured overnight in Mississauga; homicide investigating

One man is dead and two other people are injured following an overnight shooting in Mississauga.
The incident happened just before 4 a.m. on Tuesday in the Central Parkway West and Joan Drive area of Mississauga, Peel Regional Police said in a post on X.
One man was pronounced dead and two other males were taken to hospital with injuries not considered to be life threatening, police said.
A police spokesperson told INsauga.com the man was killed in a shooting inside a residence, located just west of Hurontario Street.
There is no danger to the public at this time, police said, adding there is no suspect information.
Homicide detectives are taking over the investigation, police said.
Joan Drive is closed between Central Parkway West and Melville Avenue.
