Man critically injured as truck lands in a densely treed area in Hamilton

A single-vehicle collision left one man with critical injuries in Hamilton.

The driver of a Ford F150 lost control on Upper James Street near Glanair Drive in Hamilton shortly after 5:30 p.m. yesterday (July 10), Hamilton Police Service said in a press release.

The truck left the roadway and came to rest in a densely treed area, police said.

The driver, a 41-year-old Hamilton man, was critically injured and transported to hospital where he remains in critical condition, police said.

There were no other people in the truck and no other vehicles involved.

Hamilton Police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit are investigating. A portion Upper James Street was closed for several hours for the investigation. It has since re-opened.
