A third suspect connected to a double homicide has been arrested in Ontario.
A release today from the police in York Region has stated that this arrest was made in connection to a double homicide that occured on May 13, when officers attended a residence in the area of Kaiser Dr and Forest Dr after receiving reports that shots had been fired.
Upon arriving on the scene, two males were found outside a residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and were then pronounced deceased on the scene after succumbing to their injuries.
Additional officers were dispatched to the area of Huntington Rd and Kirby Rd after receiving reports that an SUV had been abandoned and set on fire.
Police have stated that the vehicle was used in connection with the shooting and was reported stolen in Toronto.
Three men were suspected in connection with the homicide, according to police, with two being charged with allegedly participating in the homicide on May 28.
A third, and allegedly final suspect, was charged on June 4.
48-year-old Gerard Murray of Windsor was arrested and charged with two counts of alleged First-Degree Murder and Arson Causing Property Damage.
Police are still asking anyone with knowledge of the suspects or the incident to contact them directly.
