Police in Brampton are searching for a man caught on camera allegedly committing an indecent act, and say the suspect may have victimized more people.

Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Kingknoll Dr. and Creditstone Rd. in Brampton last Thursday (July 21) for reports of a suspicious person.

Investigators say a man was caught on a home security camera in an “indecent act.” A police spokesperson was unable to give details on the act or acts to preserve the investigation, but investigators say there may be more victims and are asking the public for help identifying the suspect.

The suspect is described as a South Asian male with a thin build standing approximately 6 feet tall, with dark hair in a small bun. The man was wearing a white shirt, light coloured shorts and white hat when he was caught on camera.

Police are asking residents with video surveillance cameras to check their footage between July 18 to July 21 in the morning hours and evening hours.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or may have information on this or similar incidents is asked to contact Peel Regional Police at 905-453-2121 ext. 2233.
