A man has been arrested following a string of break-ins across Peel Region and the Greater Toronto Area.

Peel Regional Police allege a man broke into several businesses across Peel and the GTA between July and October 2022, making off with cash and “miscellaneous property.” No one was hurt in any of the break-ins.

Police first put out an alert searching for Christopher Duguay, age 41, in November “for property crimes which have been escalating in severity in recent weeks.”

However, it would take several months to track him down. Police have announced they had arrested Duguay on Mar. 9 on ten counts of break and enter and a theft charge.

Anyone with information can call police at (905)-453-2121 ext. 2233 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
