Man Arrested for Attempted Robbery in Mississauga

Police have located and apprehended the suspect of a robbery this evening in Mississauga.
Around 8:30 p.m., Peel Regional Police reported an attempted theft at a bus stop in the area of City Centre Drive and Kariya Gate.
The suspect is described as a black man in his twenties. Although he attempted to flee, police were able to arrest him shortly after the incident.
There is no threat to public safety at this time.
