Male struck by vehicle in Brampton

Peel police received a call at 9:06 am in regard to a collision in Brampton.

Police say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Queen Mary Drive and Wanless Drive.

Police say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Queen Mary Drive and Wanless Drive.

The victim is an adult male and injuries are believed to be minor, according to police.

The roadway is currently closed for the investigation.

Police say Queen Mary Drive is closed as well as Wanless Drive to Desire Cove. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes as closures are expected for a few hours. 

UPDATE: Police say the roadway is now open.
