Male shot in Brampton, degree of his injuries unkown

Although details are preliminary, police have confirmed that a male was shot in Brampton tonight.

At 9:49 p.m. on Thursday (April 28), Peel Regional Police received a report about a shooting in the area of Botavia Downs Drive and Brisdale Drive. Responding officers quickly discovered a male who had been shot, and they are receiving medical attention from Peel Parademics.

Police did not indicate whether any roads have been closed in order to secure the area for an investigation, or whether the victim’s injuries are life-threatening.
