Male hospitalized after robbery with assault in Mississauga parking lot

A robbery attempt has sent one person to hospital in Mississauga today, Sept. 2.
At around 11:30 a.m., officers responded to an attempted robbery in the area of Central Parkway West and Burnhamthorpe Road West.
The driver of a Toyota Camry was assaulted by a male in a parking lot, who then fled the scene.
The victim, an adult male, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a male in his 20s wearing dark clothing. No further description has been shared at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
