Male and female shot, seriously injured at banquet hall in Brampton

Police are investigating an overnight shooting in Brampton today (Dec. 19).

It was reported at 3:45 a.m. that two people were shot during an event at a banquet hall in the area of Queen St E and Airport Rd.

A male and female suffered gunshot wounds and have been taken to trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no suspect information at this time.
