One of Brampton’s biggest tech start-up expos is happening this summer and will be free to attend.

The Brampton Venture Expo takes place on Thursday, July 13 at Rose Theatre for its third year of bringing together startup founders, executives, investors, and creatives across Brampton’s biggest industries, particularly those dealing with tech and innovation.

The event is supported by the TMU’s Brampton Venture Zone and the Brampton Innovation District.

According to the organizers, the expo will empower Brampton startups to scale, encourage job creation within Brampton’s tech ecosystem, and highlight the exciting activity happening within the Brampton Innovation District.

“Highlights will include impactful tech, entrepreneurship, industry content, incredible 1:1 and group networking opportunities, and access to world-class business leaders,” says the team behind the event.

The Brampton Venture Expo will also provide chances to meet startups and businesses that are actively hiring for various roles in the tech industry.

Exhibitors this year include Sheridan College, Algoma University, Humber College, the Brampton Board of Trade, the Brampton Entrepreneur Centre, the Chang School of Continuing Education and more.

The event will feature a variety of food options from Brampton-based vendors, and will close out with musical performances from local artists. Details have not been confirmed at this time.

This is the event’s third year and its first in person after being held virtually in 2021 and 2022.

Tickets are free and available now.
