Major roadways closed after crash in Brampton

A crash resulted in multiple road closures in Brampton today (September 5).

At 12:38 a.m., it was reported that a single vehicle was involved in a collision at Queen St and McVean Dr.

Police say one person was transported to local hospital.

As a result, eastbound and westbound Queen St was closed between Goreway and Cherrycrest Dr, and southbound McVean Dr closed at Ebenezer Rd.

Residents are asked to take different routes until the roads reopen.
