Major road closures as cyclist hit by vehicle in Brampton

A cyclist in Brampton has been struck be a vehicle on Tuesday morning (Sept. 13).

Peel Regional Police say officers were called to the area of Mclaughlin Road and Lowry Drive in Brampton. The call came in at 5;16 a.m..

When police arrived, they found a cyclist struck by a vehicle.

The cyclist has head injuries.

There are major road closure in the area. Northbound McLaughlin Road from Lowry Drive to Sandalwood Parkways is closed.

Police ask you use alternative routes this morning.
