Major road closed as police respond to person in crisis in Brampton

A road closure is in effect for a person in crisis situation Tuesday morning in Brampton.

Peel Regional Police are currently on scene communicating with a person in crisis in the area of West Drive and Glidden Road.

Few details have been confirmed by police at this time.

West Drive’s northbound and southbound lanes are shut down between Glidden and Orenda Road.

“Please use alternate routes as we support this individual,” police said.

Residents should avoid the area until further notice.

The initial call came in at 9:25 a.m.
