Update: Major road closed after a tractor-trailer rollover at the Brampton and Mississauga border

A major road has closed after a tractor-trailer rollover at the Mississauga and Brampton border.

The crash happened in the area of Steeles Avenue East and Finch Avenue around 9:30 a.m. today (Feb. 26), Peel Regional Police said in a post on X.

There were no injuries reported in the crash, police said.

Eastbound Steeles was shut down at Finch.

Police asked drivers to use alternative routes and will advise when the roadway has reopened.
