Major restaurant chain starts delivery for the first time in Canada

A major restaurant chain has launched a delivery option for the first time in Canada.

Through DoorDash, The Keg Steakhouse + Bar now delivers across Canada and the United States.

It marks the restaurant’s delivery debut, with customers now able to get steaks, appetizers, and desserts delivered.

“Delivery represents a new chapter for The Keg as we can offer the same level of care and intention we bring to every guest experience, but now directly to our guests’ homes,” said Jason Butler, the senior vice president of operations at The Keg.

“DoorDash shares our commitment to quality. That alignment made them the right partner to help us bring The Keg experience to countless households across North America for the first time.”

The Keg’s menu on DoorDash includes New York striploin, the Keg Burger, Mushrooms Neptune, smoked gouda spinach dip, cheesecake, and more.

Certain items that don’t “withstand their integrity” through travel have been excluded from the delivery menu and menus may vary by location, The Keg’s website says.

While delivery is available at more than 100 locations in Canada and the United States, The Keg says it is temporarily unavailable from the following locations: Fallsview Blvd – Ontario, Waterloo – Ontario, Garry Street – Winnipeg, Banff Caribou – Alberta, and Halifax – Nova Scotia.

Keg gift cards can’t be redeemed on DoorDash.

To mark the delivery launch, customers can get $10 off an order of $40 or more (excluding taxes and fees) from July 23 to Aug. 5 by using the promo code KEG10 in Canada.
