Major Mississauga street closed due to watermain break

One of Mississauga’s major streets will be closed overnight due to an emergency watermain repair.

Peel Public Works conveyed that a watermain break occurred at Erin Mills Parkway, just north of the Queen Elizabeth Way highway. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes.

As of 11 p.m., the southbound parkway was closed from Dundas Street to Leanne Boulevard. NOrthbound Erin Mills Parkway was closed from Fowler Drive to Sheridan Park Drive.

Update: Closure on Erin Mills will take place thru out the night:
SB-Dundas to Leanne Blvd including Sheridan Pk to Leanne sb only. NB-Fowler Dr to Sheridan Pk.
Pedestrian crossing on south side of intersection will be closed. Temp conditions setup to allow for accessibility.
