Major Mississauga roadway closed due to watermain leak

Residents should be aware of a major road closure in Mississauga this afternoon (Jan. 30).

Peel Public Work reports that a watermain leak has closed down Central Pkwy E between Burnhamthorpe Rd and Mississauga Valley Blvd.

Police are on scene redirecting traffic.

The closure was reported at 4:45 p.m. and is expected to remain in place for several hours.

All motorists should avoid the area.
