Yet another jump in gas prices is coming to southern Ontario.
Drivers will feel more pain at the pumps come Wednesday with an increase set to occur overnight.
According to fuel price prediction website gaswizard.ca, the cost of a regular litre will be nearing $2.
It will increase by seven cents overnight in most of southern Ontario, bringing it to $1.959.
Premium will also jump by seven cents, bringing it to $2.259 in much of the region.
Diesel, meanwhile, will also be more expensive come Wednesday, according to gaswizard.ca.
It’s set to increase by three cents to $2.089 in many places.
On Wednesday last week, the price for a regular litre stood at $1.789 in the Greater Toronto Area.
The latest increase will mark a jump of 17 cents since then.
The recent overall spike in fuel prices comes amid the ongoing tensions in the Middle East and the crisis involving the Strait of Hormuz.
