Update: Major intersection closed for train track work in Brampton

A major intersection in Brampton is closed for track work this morning.
The area of Mississauga Road and Bovaird Drive West in Brampton was closed this morning (Feb. 6) just after 4 a.m. in Brampton, Peel Regional Police said on X.
Northbound Mississauga Road was closed at Bovaird Drive West and southbound Mississauga Road was closed at Yardmaster and at Sandalwood Drive.
CN Rail is currently working on the train tracks, police said.
Police didn’t know when roads would reopen again but said they would provide an update.
Drivers are asked to use alternate routes.
Update: Around 10:20 a.m. police posted that the roadway is now reopened.
