A flipped tractor trailer has prompted a major road closure in Mississauga.

Shortly after 3:30 p.m., Peel police announced that a tractor trailer flipped onto its side in the Derry Road and Airport Road area in Mississauga. 

Southbound Airport is closed from Derry Road as a result. According to police, it might be closed for awhile. 

Please avoid the area.
