A police investigation is underway in Mississauga on Thursday morning and a major road closure is taking place.

The collision is near Mavis and Bristol roads.

Mavis/Lafayette, Bristol/Treecrest, and Mavis south of Bristol are closed until further notice.

Roads are expected to open by 10 a.m.

Avoid the area and expect delays.

UPDATE: The road reopened by 9 a.m.
