If you work out in Erin Mills, you might have noticed that your go-to fitness facility has closed is doors.

Erin Mills Fitness, a sizeable and popular gym located on Millcreek Drive, has temporarily shuttered its doors following a dispute with its landlord.

Earlier this week, the brand reached out its members on Facebook to explain the abrupt closure. Operators also indicated that a solution will be reached soon.

“Dear Erin Mills Fitness Members,

We are sorry to inform you that our club has been closed as we were unfortunately unable to reach a mutual agreement with the landlord. We assure you that we are working diligently to resolve the situation and will keep you updated via our Facebook Page and website.

We would like to thank you for your long term support and hope to have our doors open soon.

For further inquires, please email [email protected].

The Erin Mills Team”

In the comment thread on the post, gym operators said they should be able to provide an update sometime in the next few days.

Customers who use the Physiomed (which provides pain and injury treatment, chronic condition treatment, preventative health and weight control help and more) located inside the gym are advised to contact that company with any questions at [email protected].

Erin Mills Fitness has likely been missed since the closure, as it’s a 24-hour facility with a women’s-only gym, a co-ed gym, an aerobics studio, a boxing studio, a cardio section, a heated pool, aquafit classes, private showers and a steam room.

We’ll keep you up to date on any new developments.
