Major grocery store set to open north of Toronto

A new popular Asian supermarket is opening up in Ontario.

BTRUST Supermarket, a one-stop shop for a wide variety of hard-to-find goods from outside Canada, has just opened a brand new location off Highway 407 and Highway 7 in Richmond Hill.

Dialling in at 28,000 sq ft, the new storefront offers a wide selection of products from all over Asia and around the world, including produce, premium meats, fresh seafood, and other essentials.

“Our goal is to bring diverse food cultures to every family’s table and to become a trusted neighbourhood supermarket for families seeking fresh ingredients and a wide range of culinary options,” said a management representative of BTRUST in an official statement.

Shoppers can anticipate curated goods imported from North America, China, Japan, Korea, and Southeast Asia.

The grand opening of the Richmond Hill BTRUST Supermarket is set to kick off today (Jan. 29) at 9019 Bayview Ave.

The first 500 customers through the door are set to be gifted a welcome pack valued at $80, as well as other prizes.
