Major fire causes significant damage to business in Brampton

A commercial fire broke out last night (Sept. 24) causing significant damage to the roof of a collision centre in Brampton.
The fire happened at Rutherford Collision Centre, located at 161 Rutherford Rd. S., near Stafford Dr.
Brampton Fire and Emergency Services report being on the scene shortly before 8 p.m.
Crews were seen stretching a ladder and hose over to the roof of the one-storey building and applying water to the blaze.
Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the roof area of the commercial building and remained on scene for several hours to perform overhaul on the structure.
