Major crash in Hamilton sends several to hospital, highway closed

The latest on the crash that shut down parts of the Lincoln Alexander Parkway in Hamilton for 11 hours can be found here.

A crash involving a tractor-trailer and several vehicles has sent several to hospital and closed eastbound lanes of the Lincoln Alexander Parkway.

The accident occurred in the area of the Linc and Golf Links Rd. just after 6 p.m. on Thursday (May 19).

Early reports indicate several people have been injured, some seriously.

Police say traffic has been closed in all eastbound lanes of the highway and are warning drivers to stay away from the area.
