Trying to pigeonhole the band Incubus into a style box is a bit tricky. Alt-rock could be a generic tag to throw their way but they have an actual fusion of heavy metal, funk, jazz, hip-hop, techno and grunge all mixed into a very distinctive sound.

Coming into the early 2000’s as one of the best know bands in that period, they toured relentlessly on the strength of two mid-1990s releases before hitting the charts jackpot with their 1999 release Make Yourself.

But they didn’t stop their, continuing to gather in the studio and release new albums throughout the 2000’s and 2010’s right up until an EP in 2020.

As of October 2022, Incubus has sold over 23 million albums worldwide.

On August 6 at 8 pm, they’ll hit the OLS Stage at Fallsview Casino with Badflower opening the show. Tickets going on sale this Friday (April 7) and to get yours, check HERE.

Here’s a look at one of their biggest songs, Drive, broken down as an acoustic performance.
