Main road closed for a police investigation in Niagara Falls

Police closed a main road in Niagara Falls this morning.
Victoria Avenue was closed between Morrison Street and Simcoe Street for an active police investigation, Niagara Regional Police said in a tweet this morning (Sept. 6) just before 6 a.m.
Police expected the road to be closed for the next several hours and asked people to use alternative routes.
There was no other information released.
