Main road closed after cyclist struck by vehicle in Oakville

A cyclist was struck by a vehicle Thursday morning in Oakville.
Halton Regional Police say a portion of Upper Middle Rd. in Oakville was closed after a vehicle hit a cyclist shortly before 11:30 a.m. in the morning.
Police have yet to specify the extent of the injuries to the cyclist.
Investigators are on the scene where the cyclist was struck by the vehicle.

With the police investigation underway, the eastbound lanes of Upper Middle Rd. between Golden Meadow Trail and Eight Line were closed.
