A Mississauga mansion brimming with luxury features recently sold for just under $5 million.
The mansion is one of five that made real estate broker Zoocasa’s list of luxury real estate sold in Ontario. All the properties sold come with features most of us can only dream about.
“Even if you aren’t in the market for a $5,000,000 home, you can still browse these recently sold listings and live vicariously through their images,” Zoocasa notes.
The four-bedroom home at 225 Maplewood Road in Mineola is no exception.
Designed by David Small, the home sits on an approximately two-thirds of an acre lot.
The mansion comes with eight bathrooms — if you are counting, that’s two bathrooms for every bedroom. The primary bedroom comes with a massive bathroom and a changing room.
The 5,500-square-foot home features a “caterers” kitchen with upscale appliances and a large centre island.
The walk-up basement has a recreation room, a media room for film screenings, a wine-tasting room with tons of space for your favourite vintages, and a wet bar.
But perhaps the most outstanding feature of this home is the backyard.
Described as enchanting and Muskoka-like, the tree-lined yard features a pool with a waterfall feature, an outdoor kitchen and an “exceptional” landscape design.
With all this space, the homeowners will likely want to invite guests. Luckily, this place has parking for seven vehicles.
The home sold on March 4 for $4,925,000, just under the $5,188,000 asking price.
